Chiefly of Major David Watson, including 4 diaries relating to farm and family events at Bracketts, Louisa County, Virginia, and including entries on his matriculation of William and Mary College, 1796, biographical sketches of himself and his father Major James Watson, a criticism of University of Virginia buildings, 1819, and a description of a trip to Warm Springs, Virginia, 1822. Also two letters, 15 February 1809, on his political career, and 6 March 1930, discussing Thomas Jefferson's religious beliefs. Three letters, 1791, of Garritt Minor on family affairs. 1799 Nov. 6, signed Attorney's license to David Watson, 1773-1830.
